Kicks Flow: Art & Sole X Nike Cortez ID Project At BOXPARK Pop-Up Mall | London, England

Dopeness..
4 designs for 40th anniversary, that’s the premise behind the Art & Sole Nike Cortez iD Project, now exclusively available through the just opened NIKEiD Studio at London’s BOXPARK Pop-Up Mall. Curated by Intercity Studio, the creator of Art & Sole book series, four young artist were asked to design four different covers for the book as well as pairs of Nike Cortez iD in matching colors.
Illustrator Jiro Bevis utilized references from London and his home country of Japan for an expressive (and fun) juxtaposition of cartoonish beaver, as in Beaverton, OR, in red. As for designer Matthew Nicholson, his magenta colored graphics are representations of children’s toys and the tangible elements of them. A globetrotter and modern day nomad, Shantell Martin illustrates freely on her computer about her travels to Tokyo, New York, and beyond. Because her computer is also her medium, there is a USB drive to her custom green Art & Sole cover as well. As an image maker, Rose Stallard interprets the world through her screen prints with the occasional doodles in blue felt-tip markers.
Limited to 40 units per design with each book and sneaker pack priced at £125, the Art & Sole x Nike Cortez iD Project will only be available at the new NIKEiD Studio within the BOXPARK Pop-Up Mall.
