The calendar may read 2013, but these classic kicks from adidas Originals‘ 1986 line-up are still as fresh to death as ever. Coming in four colorway options across both the low-top and high-top silhouette options, these Rivalry kicks quickly rose to the top of the charts thanks to their wide cross-appeal from stars on the court and on stage, built with a leather upper and a beefy white midsole that carries a bit of accent color. 

The taller versions were loved for their strong ankle support, coming in White/Grey and Black/White, while the low-top provide more of a casual look, dropping in a Lime Green and a White/Black. Until their drop next month at select adidas Originals retailers, stay tuned for any more news on these.

Fly Season: Despicable Me 2 x ICECREAM T-Shirt

After composing Despicable Me‘s soundtrack, Pharrell is back again on production for the animated film’s sequel. In celebration of Despicable Me 2, Pharrell took the chance to release a limited edition T-shirt via his ICECREAM imprint, showcasing a number of collaborative graphics from both entities. Featuring the film’s popular minion in conjunction with ICECREAM’s skateboard and cartoon sensibility, the T-shirt features both front and back designs in addition to branding from both labels on the sleeves. 

Aside from overseeing the soundtrack, Pharrell also recorded “Happy”, a soulful, upbeat hit for the album. Look out for the Despicable Me 2 x ICECREAM T-shirt to be released via the ICECREAM online store and NYC flagship store on June 26th with a retail price of $38 USD.

Models & Freshness: Georgia May Jagger for Muse Magazine

Talk about the right combination of genes. Some people just seem like they were born to model. And though we all would love to think that we’d sizzle in front of the camera, and effortlessly, there takes a certain level of panache to get it done the right way. 

For the summer edition of Muse Magazine David Bellemere photographed the British beauty Georgia May Jagger in a mix of prints, denim and crop tops styled by Michael Philouze. The daughter of famous ’70s top model Jerry Hall and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has the cutest gap between her front teeth. Georgia’s understated makeup was done by Megumi Itano and her hair was styled by Maxime Mace.

The Made in the USA M996ST sports a predominantly navy upper composed of suede and mesh with black suede midfoot and heel panels. Skate Life: President’s x Atypical Skateboard

A passion for quality and a dedication to craftsmanship brought two leading Italian brands together to create a limited-edition complete skateboard for the new season. President’s, the Florence-based menswear label, and Atypical, the craft-focused skateboarding brand, came together for the project in a natural overlap for both companies. The collaboration comes in celebration of the 84th Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy. 

The skateboards themselves are handcrafted from premium ash tree bark, and offered in two designs with five variations each. Inspired by the ’60s and ’70s skateboarding and surfing scene in California, the boards fuse both President’s and Atypical’s minimalist, classic aesthetic, with meticulous attention to detail. Though limited to 10 editions for now, enjoy a look at the President’s x Atypical Skateboard, available at select shops next year.

Skate Life: Nike SB Presents the Paul Rodriguez 7 & the Skate Safari Tours

Continuing to roll out their summer takeover, Nike SB has launched Paul Rodriguez‘s seventh professional model shoe with a tour of the exotic Los Angeles area, summarized by the above video. Led by a dysfunctional duo of Brad Staba and the gung-ho ‘Trick’ (in some circles known as Blake Anderson), the tour bus hits the road for a safari, sighting rare professional skateboarders in their natural habitat. 

Sightings of Gino Lannucci, Cory Kennedy and Theotis Beasley keep the crowd in awe, yet leave it to the man of the hour, P-Rod himself, to cap off the tour with a very gnarly triple-set banger (not unlike the “Today Was A Good Day” clip). The fun video was created to celebrate the P-Rod 7, which takes cues from classic Nike models such as the Air Jordan 1 and Dunk to deliver a low profile skate-ready silhouette. Australian hottie and Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr goes casual for Vogue Korea’s July 2013 issue. French photographer Eric Guillemain captured the top model posing in sport styles with a retro skateboard and a bicycle. Miranda was styled by Ye Young with Make-Up by Makki and her hair styled by Harry Josh.

Random News: Dave Chappelle is Going on Tour

Dave Chappelle is co-headlining Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour, a 5 weekend tour launching this summer, marking the comedians long-awaited return to the circuit following a number of impromptu “warm-up sets” around the country. The traveling festival will include New Zeleand’s musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords and comedians such as Al Madrigal, Brody Stevens, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, and Kristen Schaal. 

The Oddball Tour will play 13 dates this fall, including stops in, Austin, Pittsburgh, Camden, Denver, Phoenix, Houston, Tinley Park, Holmdel, Irvine, Dallas, Detroit, Mansfield, and Mountain View, with tickets going on sale here on June 21.

Top Shelf: BMW 4 Series Coupé Revealed

This is the production version of the BMW 4-series coupé, the successor to the BMW 3-series coupé and rival to the Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-class coupé. Set to make its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September, the new two-door is set to go on sale in the UK on October 5, priced from £31,575 for the entry-level 420d SE.

The most potent launch model is the 435i which, when equipped with the optional eight-speed automatic, has a 0-62mph time of 5.1sec. Rounding out the line-up late next year will be the M4 coupé. Power is set to come from a heavily tuned, twin-turbocharged version of BMW’s 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder petrol engine, which is claimed to deliver around 440bhp.

Standard equipment includes heated leather seats and a 6.5in color screen with BMW’s iDrive controller. All versions except the base SE get 18-inch alloy wheels and sport seats. The M Sport trim includes adaptive dampers, which are available as an option across the rest of the range.

Top Shelf: A Look at the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento

Succeeding ‘A Surreal Look into Lamborghini’s Egoista,’ the Italian carmaker delivers yet another video highlighting one of its adventurously designed supercars. Officially debuted at 2010’s Paris Moto Show, the Sesto Elmento, Italian for “Sixth Element”, is a two-seater coupe with a 6-speed paddle shift semiautomatic transmission and a 5.2 liter V10 engine that matches Lambo’s highly-circulated Gallardo. 

Constructed mainly from carbon fiber to reduce its total weight down to a size comparable to that of a subcompact, thus becoming the lightest Lamborghini ever made, its name is appropriately in reference to the atomic number for carbon. The automaker announced late last year its plans to produce just 20 Sesto Elementos exclusively for track use and today we get our first look at the performance of this wonderful piece of engineering. Watch the rare footage below as the limited edition coupe travels around a Las Vegas track.
