Kicks Flow: NikeLab x Dover Street Market "Triple Black" Roshe Daybreak

There’s no growth or broadening of any horizon without travel. Last week, the AA team took to London, and brought back some nice goodies to post and show love to. The sneaker game is vast. And there’s just so much dopeness out there to discover. If you can explore while adding to your sneaker collection, you’re doing alright.

Dover Street Market has moved its original London location to Haymarket in London. The reopening is being celebrated with many brands that the concept store is close with, including NikeLab. NikeLab in fact has its own space inside Dover Street Market London and produced some nice exclusives for the reopening.

NikeLab and Dover Street Market worked on the Roshe Daybreak in a clean triple black version. Branding can only be found on the in-sole of the sneaker. Matching the sneaker the two also produced the Nike Windrunner in all black. Both items are now available for purchase from the DSM London online store.

Kicks Flow: adidas Ultra Boost "Triple Black"

It’s no secret that running shoes are the new hottest thing in the sneaker world. Whether for actual runners, or people who just want to be comfortable while looking cool, running kicks are more popular than ever. adidas has jumped back in front as a force to be reckoned with lately, and the seminal brand doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down either.

Due to the immense popularity of its Ultra Boost runner, adidas has been cranking out various colorways to meed audience demand, but the silhouette had yet to see a plain black iteration.

These newly revealed images indicate that a coveted "Triple Black" colorway is finally set to launch, featuring a simple black tone on the Primeknit upper and signature Boost cushioning underneath. There’s no release date as of yet, but we’re definitely keeping our eyes open. Stay tuned.

Kicks Flow: Nike Air Max 1 "Safari"

Between 1999-2003, we saw some of the most creative models of sneakers ever released. Design is everything. And it seems as if the brands decided that the 90’s would be the end of playing it safe. At the time, most sneakers were fairly basic in design, so seeing a model that had a wilder look or more of a futuristic one, wasn’t always the easiest to spend your hard-earned money on. But now some of those same kicks are returning, and to more fanfare than ever.

Enter the Nike Air Max  1 "Safari". Inspired by the iconic atmos Tokyo collaboration from 2002, the shoe is updated with two-tone heavy suede, rendered in a unique hairy texture across the toe box, as well as a translucent glow-in-the-dark outsole for an all-new look. The Air Max 1 "Safari" is available now through select global Nike retailers.

Top Shelf: Chevrolet's 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro

Every now and then, a thing of beauty is manufactured in a way that just makes us salivate at its gloriousness. You don’t see many classic cars rolling around these days, but when you do, you’d be losing out if you didn’t stop and stare for a second. Now, if you get the chance to actually ride in or own one, then you’re just operating on another level.

The first Camaro rolled onto American roads in 1967, so it's no surprise that Chevrolet will be launching a special 50th Anniversary Edition trim for the 2017 model year. Finished in a Nightfall Gray paint job, the car sports a black and orange stripe kit on the nose and tail, along with 20-inch wheels with 50th anniversary center caps, satin chrome grille inserts, a front splitter, and "Fifty" badges on the front fender.

Inside, there are even more 50th anniversary references, while the black leather interior has suede inserts and orange accent stitching. The special edition will go on sale this summer, available on the V6-powered 2LT and V8-powered 2SS models in both coupe and convertible variations.

Kicks Flow: Diadora - “Bermuda” Pack

Good Moola,

I remember back in the day when tracksuits were really popular and all the sneaker brands were dropping them. You used to see rappers rockin’ the Sergio Techini ones all the time. Nike had a ton too, but for whatever reason, no one ever mentions the Diadora suits. Or their kicks back in the day. I probably had two pairs, but noticed they disappeared from the sneaker shops right after that. But lately, there’s been a reemergence from them, and they’re making some really dope kicks that you definitely won’t see on everyone out there.

The Italian sportswear label drops a pair of summertime bangers, just as the weather starts heating up a bit. Both the N9000 and V7000 have been recreated in breezy colorways heavy in summertime vibes. Suede and mesh uppers, running sneakers’ El Classico, ride atop highly cushioned sole units, offset by a crisp white midsole. Fresh indeed.

Kicks Flow: New Balance & J.Crew - “Butterscotch” 997

Some posts just feel like they should be dedicated to certain people. So this one is for Ant, because no one loves J. Crew and New Balance more than he does. We always share our favorite collaborations, and this one is definitely one that we think works pretty nicely.

J.Crew and New Balance got together for a new 997 sneaker. According to its creators, the “Butterscotch” 997 is inspired by “grandpa’s tastiest candy,” and features premium suede and leather uppers in creamy brown and beige tones that look tasty enough to eat.

If you love this pair as much as we do, it’s retailing for $210, and is scheduled to drop on March 12th, exclusively from J.Crew.

Kicks Flow: Nike Air Max BW Ultra

Time is flying, and here we are in March already, gearing up for spring and all the new kicks that we need to stock for the better weather coming our way. A lot of people naturally go for the whiter kicks, for that fresh look. But we think that maybe being a little more colorful is the way to go sometimes too.

Enter the Nike Air Max BW Ultra. It features a geometric graphic print laid out in black and red on the mesh upper. White detailing and a matching white midsole, along with reflective accents on the heel, complete the look. The kicks are available now through select Nike Sportswear retailers. They run for about $135, so don’t be cheap about it.

Kicks Flow: NikeLab Air Moc Fleece

We all like looking like we’re effortless fresh, but away from being the most stylish person in the room, it would be nice to be one of the most comfortable as well. The trick is getting a pair of kicks that look great, but also won’t have you in pain by the end of the day. Nike’s done an incredible job of incorporating all kinds of new models that tackle both very concerning factors for us sneakerheads.

Originally released way back in 1994 as part of Nike's ACG imprint, the Air Moc has been updated with a fleece upper and oversized lug-patterned outsole for greater stability and traction. The cozy fleece material, arriving in heather grey and black on a duo of new styles, provides warmth and a comfortable fit, while also giving the nod to Nike's sport heritage. Look out for these this week. They launch through NikeLab locations starting March 4th.

Top Shelf: 2017 Aston Martin DB11

Top Shelf has had a strong week so far, so we’re not going to let up with the illustriousness at all. As we continue to aspire and inspire with all of these great rides, we’d like to bring your attention to another serious vehicle that just never quits to make us fall in love yearly from model to model.

Check out this first look at the upcoming 2017 Aston Martin DB11. The successor of the popular DB9 is not only beautiful, it actually signals changes at Aston Martin on several fronts. Not only did the design language change, compared to the brand’s cars of the last decade, the new DB11 is also the first to benefit from the new partnership with Mercedes-AMG. Design cues from the DBX design concept and the DB10 from James Bond movie Spectre have both find their ways into the new DB11. Yeah, it’s that boss!
