The adidas Originals concept store No. 6 recently received a new batch of sneakers from adidas Skateboarding. Highlight models from the lineup include the Busenitz, Silas, Superstar Skate Elridge, Campus and the recently previewed Mark Gonzalez. All follow a minimal design scheme in a wide assortment of color choices, with prices ranging between £55 to £60 making it all quite reasonable. Look for these through adidas Originals No. 6 as well as other select adidas Skateboarding stockists.

Following some initial looks into Bell & Ross’ The Vintage Collection, here are some further highlights from the 1940s aviation-inspired capsule. The collection is divided into two smaller lines, a Vintage Original and Vintage Heritage which both share a similar design language albeit with different executions. The Original line is comprised of 1940′s stylings re-released while the Heritage line includes vintage aesthetics with the readability of aviation dials. The Original capsule is signified by silver cases while the Heritage capsule is marked by matte black, anti-reflective cases. Available now through select Bell & Ross channels.

Kicks Flow: Star Wars X adidas Originals – Fall/Winter 2010 – Han Solo SL-72

YESSIR!!

Ranked as one of the greatest film heroes in cinematic history (Number 14, to be exact) by the American Film Institute, Han Solo is without a doubt, one of the coolest cultural icons and also one of the most indispensable characters in the Star Wars franchise. As such, when Han Solo was frozen in carbonite by Darth Vader and shipped off the Jabba the Hutt, Solo fans gasped at the blasphemy. Not coincidentally, this is also one of the most memorable moments in the movie franchise.

As such, how can adidas Originals’ continued partnership with Star Wars leave out this epic moment in the movie? As Star Wars and adidas Originals returns for a second season of collaboration, Han Solo is worked into the collection which also includes the previously previewedTop Ten Low R2-D2 + C-3PO sneakers. The new Han Solo SL-72 takes on a classic running silhouette, and details are arranged and rework to remind all of the galactic bad boy who changed his loner, vagabond ways for the common good.

The Han Solo SL-72 is crafted with a cool grey carbonite colored upper with black three-stripes, matching black waxed laces, blue midsoles and a red heel tape which is reminiscent of the red sides of Solo’s pants. These shoes are set to hit racks in the coming season, so if you are a Han Solo fan, do keep an eye out for these shoes at your select Star Wars x adidas Originals retailers.

Top Shelf: Aston Martin – V8 Vantage N420 Special Edition

I'ma 007 fan, you know what it is..

UK supercar manufacturer, Aston Martin, have announced that they will start taking orders for a special version of the Vantage. The V8 Vantage N420 has gone under the knife (figuratively speaking,) and shed some weight. Carbon fiber parts contribute to the weight-loss and the car is now 27 kilograms lighter than the standard V8 Vantage Coupe. It also sports a custom body kit, and 10 spoke black rims in gloss finish. The vehicle produces 420 HP (313 kW/426 PS), (thus the name, N420) and it pushes out 470 Nm from the 4.7-liter power plant. No other details are released but the vehicles are scheduled to start delivery from August. via: WCF

Kicks Flow: adidas Originals By Originals X LUKER By NEIGHBORHOOD – Superstar 80’s (Detailed Look)

Styles upon styles..

As many would have known by now, the great Kazuki Kuraishi has roped LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD into his adidas Originals by Originals kzk line for a joint collaborative venture. Aside from adorable mini-me children’s clothing and cool apparel for the grown-ups (Biker jacket rendered in Harris Tweed is a must-buy), we have also debuted the collaborative Superstar 80’sfrom this upcoming collaboration set to drop in Fall. While we had previously shown the black colorway, Suelasdegoma has shot some great images of the cool black Superstar 80’s inverted counterpart, the white version.

An inversion of the black kicks, these feature a supple white premium leather upper, and all the accents such as the printed logo on heel and tongue which used to be white are now black. The great part about these is that it retains the grunge, vintage sensibility LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD purveys. The shell toe and soles have been deliberately yellowed and distressed to look nonchalant and worn. Both are great, easy kicks to wear that will last for as long as the shoes don’t break. Now the only question is, black, or white? COP BOTH!!
