Kicks Flow: Parra x Nike's Air Max 1

We see all kinds of new sneaker designs every week. Some of them stand out, and others stand out so much that they make you want to buy them immediately. It’s hard to stay away from buying kicks these days, especially with so many really awesome models coming out. We’re waiting patiently for one particular Nike collaboration to drop in a couple weeks, and we think it will be well worth the wait.

Nike has confirmed its latest collaboration with Amsterdam-based artist Piet Parra, the creative mind behind some of the most iconic Air Max 1 designs during the silhouette’s heyday in the mid-to-late ’00s. Now, eight years after his last Nike collaboration, we’re finally getting a brand new Parra x Nike design.

The retail version of the kicks features a pattern-heavy leather and mesh upper and blue Swoosh branding on the sides, heel, and tongue. The friends-and-family Air Max 1 features Parra’s signature on the forefoot and a cloud pattern in place of the lateral Swoosh.

These are said to be dropping on July 21st, but the price has yet to be announced. We’re keeping a close eye on these, and you should, as well. They definitely won’t last long in stores.
