Kicks Flow: Epitome x Saucony 5000 "Righteous One"

Righteous..

A couple of weeks ago, I was on Twitter making these bold statements about Saucony, and said that “I’m making Saucony fresh again”. I may have said something else along the lines of how I should get credit for “bringing them back” or something. Obviously, these are ridiculously inflated tweets to get people to start showing more love to the brand. I definitely have nothing to do with how fresh they are, and they don’t need anyone to bring them back because they’ve never left. This is just a great brand that I love and want to see get more shine.

Atlanta-based sneaker boutique Epitome has joined forces with Saucony to introduce a beautifully reimagined edition of the iconic Shadow 5000 silhouette. Taking inspiration from the 65-foot “big fish” statue that can be seen right across from Epitome’s storefront and middle eastern superstitions, the design features high grade premium pig suede and an all-over embossed fish scale pattern at the toe box. Suited up in a bright turquoise, this particular model is the very first Saucony to ever have a memory foam insert.

The look is then finished with a translucent sole and gold flake accents. The eye on the tongue is supposed to guide the wearer onto a righteous path, which is where the name comes from. The Epitome x Saucony Shadow 5000 “Righteous One” will be available soon.
