We’re back on our collaboration love-fest grind again today. There was a time when you’d rarely see two brands come together for a shoe that was worth the price on the tag, but things have changed so dramatically with that as of late. So many cool brands have collaborated on kicks that have changed the landscape for what we see as “fresh”, and we’d be ashamed if we didn’t share one of our favorites from this week.
Japan’s atmos and ASICS previously came together on a “Duck Camo” GEL-Lyte III back in June, and now the pair follows it up with a “Midnight Tokyo” iteration of the early ’90s runner.The sneaker features black leather overlays with ‘rain camo’ detailing. Reflective 3M is then incorporated on the toe box and media panel, ensuring your feet will literally gleam in the dark.
