Kicks Flow: Nike Flyknit Chukka Trainer FSB

Trainers and runners rejoice. I can personally speak to how hard it is to find a shoe to train or run in, that you can stick with model after model. Either something newer comes out and you forget the last shoe, or you just never wear the shoe because you realized it sucked after you bought it and couldn’t return it. Whatever the situation, I confess that I haven’t always been all that loyal to my running and training shoes…until I started with the Nike’s Flyknit’s last year.

As the new winter-ready edition of the Nike Flyknit Chukka prepares to drop, another set of images have surfaced detailing the shoe, which will be worn by American athletes at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. The Flyknit Chukka Trainer FSB features synthetic wool incorporated into both the upper and inner liner for added protection from cold temperatures. To further prepare for icy terrain, the FSB adopts an outsole inspired by the Nike Free that is also water-resistant and highly visible at night.
Finishing touches include the USA tongue pull alongside the custom Stars and Stripes liners featuring the words “Land of the Free” and “Home of the Brave.” The Nike Flyknit Chukka Trainer FSB is available now at select outlets including Sneaker Politics.
