Good Moola..
If you skate, you know that you could hit shops all day and find really cool shoes to board in. I used to grab pair after pair back in like ’08-’09, simply for aesthetic purposes. And honestly, most of those shoes are still chillin’ in the back of my closet. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just I can’t speak to how well they’ll perform while skating. We all buy things that just “look cool”. But if you’re taking your skating seriously, and want to look good, while also preventing yourself from breaking your body up into a bunch of pieces, get yourself some quality that’s going to speak to longevity.
Nike SB has released a new Quickstrike colorway for its Paul Rodriguez 8 silhouette. Inspired directly by the innovative skateboarder’s love for the color combination, this “Black/Metallic Gold” edition features a black synthetic upper with diamond print overlay, metallic gold accents, and a contrasting white Lunarlon sole.
The silhouette’s soft but durable Flywire cables wrap the forefoot and integrate with the laces for a glove-like fit that moves with your foot, while a separate foam sockliner adds extra underfoot support. The limited Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 8 QS “Black/Metallic Gold” is now available at New York’s RISE.
