Dopeness: Michael Lau – Crazymichael Black Figure

Hong Kong fans been overwhelmed by the various items released as designer Michael Lau busied himself this holiday season. The latest is the is the Crazymichael Black figurine, which was limited to 299 pieces only. If you have missed out the opportunity to order, there a select few resellers over the Internet willing to take orders. But only from December 24th to January 2nd, after the first deliveries have completed. The obvious distinction of this piece is the all black body and straight jacket with contrasting white eyes and teeth. We get a first look at the New Balance H710 Ivy League Collection. The line consists of several versions of the H710 hiking sneaker, inspired by the various Ivy League Schools, including Harvard, Brown, Yale, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn and Princeton. Premium leathers and mesh are mixed on the clean upper designs of the sneakers and nice university inspired logo tags have been placed on the tongues. Look out for a release January 2011.

Fly Season: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Openworked Watch

Premium watch designers, Audemars Piguet have just launched its latest model Royal Oak “Openworked”. Featuring movement from a new calibre derived from the 3120, the 3129, the watch is a high-contrast skeletonized model, displaying its inner workings.

The complex design is available in either stainless steel or Rose Gold on a brown leather strap. Fans nervous of the shock-resistance should be comforted by the cross-through balance-bridge and its direct drive seconds hand that avoids any jerking.
