Dopeness: MEDICOM TOY X Star Wars - C-3PO 400% Kubrick
MEDICOM TOY and Star Wars are back again with a bigger figure that will make any Star Wars fan excited. The C-3PO may not be the most famous of the Star Wars series however the human like robot is characteristic with his personality and unique walking style. So to honor this memorable golden robot, MEDICOM TOY have produced a 400% version with great attention to detail and realistic construction.
From the face to the body the molding is made precisely giving the figure a life and it looks as though it may just start to walk and come alive. The golden complexion is recreated well mimicking the original character with multi colored wires showing around the waist region. Collectors should definitely look out for this one as it is scheduled to release around late August 2010.
You know I love Star Wars..

Kicks Flow: Adidas Originals By Originals - Jeremy Scott - 3-Tongue Low
If there is anyone who can prove that excess is good, it is Jeremy Scott. In a world where designers are keeping things classic and minimal, the outrageously irreverent American designer keeps it pumped and loud in both his eponymous line and his high-profile collaboration with adidas Originals by Originals.
Aside from the already difficult to find Multicolored JS Wings (a pair of shoes with so many colors you can’t count and comes with wings–what’s not to like?), another stand-out piece due to race off the racks is the 3-Tongue Low. Scott had previously played around with sneaker tongues and decided that the more the merrier, this time around he brings the same concept to the classic loafer silhouette. Except this loafer is remixed with a futuristic tone in mind in a reflective silver upper, and the classic loafer fringed tongue with tassels are piled atop one another (three in total, perhaps a nod to the adidas Originals 3-stripes). Of course, aside from three tongues, the 3-stripes are still present and modified with a dandy touch with the weaved detail through the ankle and stripes. The soles are kept black for a retro-space age vibe– as if the classic men’s loafers had been on a galactic trip and came back reconstructed and plated with another dimension.

Kicks Flow: Adidas Originals By Originals - Spring/Summer 2010 - Kzklot Superstar 80
Kazuki Kuraishi’s adidas Originals by Originals venture is no stranger to collaborations. Last season, the designer’s ObyO kzk line had enlisted some of the industry’s important labels such as NEIGHBORHOOD to create collaborative items such as a navy peacoat with a contemporary twist for the line.
This time around, the designer sought out Hong Kong’s creative collective, CLOT, to rework the sneaker world’s iconic shell-toe, the Superstar 80. For CLOT, breathability is quintessential to not just the feet, but a person’s general well-being. Thus, the Superstar 80 veers from traditional opaque and solid material and heads for the ventilated ballistic nylon mesh upper. The black are balanced with jagged white contrast stitching for the classic three-stripes. While the soles and shell toe are kept crisp and clean, the rest of the sneakers stay tonal with black leather lace panels, matching laces and leather tongue. The interesting differentiating point lies in the striped heel pull in colorway of the Germany flag, and the special collaborative vintage style logo tongue which marks all three logos (CLOT, kzk and adidas Originals) into the same space. The intriguing choice of material and stitching give these classic silhouettes a retro futuristic vibe that always plays with the concept of deconstructionism.
Perfect for the sweltering humid summer days in Hong Kong or even Los Angeles, look out for these kicks to hit stores soon!
