Kicks Flow: Nike Flyknit Racer "Blue Tint"

I used to pick my running shoes out based on how cool they looked. It didn’t matter if they were heavier than she should’ve been, or if the type of shoe wasn’t even what I needed. Wide, cushion, breathable, etc. It didn’t matter at all. Then after speaking with other people who ran, I started seeing that I was doing it all wrong with how I picked out my running kicks. I needed to make a change. And quickly. The first time I saw someone running in a pair of Flyknit’s from Nike, I was in DTLA and thought they were the coolest running shoes I’d seen in awhile. Years later, I still feel the same way.

Nike is back with another version of them, and we think you might want to grab a pair. The “Blue Tint” Flyknit Racer features a fresh light blue upper on the lateral side contrasted by an darker navy on the medial side. Sitting atop of a dark navy midsole, minor details such as the white swoosh and blue digi-camo pull tab adds for further dimensions of aesthetic pleasure, as a navy tongue and navy sockliner wraps up the clean look.

Set to release November 16th, the “Blue Tint” Nike Flyknit Racer will retail for $160 USD at Nike stockists and online.

Fly Season: Timex Weekender x Horween Leather

Some watches transcend trends and just always seem to go with whatever times we’re in. There are people who live for super expensive timepieces, and those that are more into classic watches that can be worn with pretty much any outfit or on any occasion. For those of us into watches, it was great to see a new rendition of the Timex Weekender. I’ve always loved it. Not only because it’s always been priced nicely, but also because of its simplicity and stylish look.

If you're looking for a classic chronograph watch that's durable, reliable and doesn't break the bank, the Timex Weekender should be at the top of your list. Even better, the timepiece gets a premium upgrade thanks to a Horween Leather strap. The adjustable length button-stud band fits virtually all wrist sizes with over two inches of of adjustment.

The watch face is available in either cream or cobalt options, and both are available for purchase now at huckberry.com.

Kicks Flow: Barneys New York x Diadora - Heritage Trident 90

During the long weekend and holiday, a lot of people tend to run out to shop. We’ve got a gem here that we think may be a nice option, if you’re in the mood to pick up some new kicks. Barneys New York really has proved that it has an affinity for amazing collaborations and luxurious materials, and with its newest collaboration with Diadora, that fact is more apparent than ever.

Working on the Diadora Heritage Trident 90 silhouette, the upper of the model has been dressed entirely in a supple nude leather and adorned by heat-welded drilled details most notably in the toebox area. Barneys hasn’t left out any minor details either; the shoe’s laces are also produced from a rich leather material. On the tongue, Diadora branding can be found elegantly embossed, while embossed Barneys New York branding can also be found on the shoe’s heeltabs.

The Barneys New York x Diadora Heritage Trident 90 is available now at select Barneys New York stores and online at Barneys.com.
