Kicks Flow: Reebok Pump Omni Lite - Vintage Pack

While 2013 has been an undisputed success for Reebok and Reebok Classics, they’ve also got big things in store for 2014. After rejoining with Shaq, Allen Iverson, and Shawn Kepp to help reintroduce the classic Shaqnosis, Question Mid, and Kamikaze II, each in new colorways and old, it’s this vintage Pump Omni Lite piece of their Vintage Pack that gets the spotlight today, which is re-releasing along with the Reebok Dual Pump Runner, Reebok Pump Aerobic Lite and Reebok Pump Graph Lite in the coming weeks.

Sportin' a pre-worn midsole, an all-white leather build, and orange and black detailing, this is a legit blast from the past. If you are interested in coppin' any of them be on the lookout for them to hit sometime in January 2014.

Design: BMW i8 Key Design

I could be wrong, but I believe most of the writers at AA drive BMW’s, so this post is one that I think we can all appreciate and spread good love on. Technology never ceases to amaze me, and it seems like it just gets more and more expansive by the day with how it helps us with the simplest functions of our everyday lives.

The innovations contained in the upcoming BMW i8 extend even to the key fob, which is made with eco-friendly materials like biopolymer (made with castor bean oil and glass fiber). But what’s really unique about the device is its built in functionality, featuring a high-resolution LCD display showing measurements like charge levels, time on charge or the distance the vehicle can travel before needing to recharge.

Another feature will allow the i8′s pre-conditioning to be turned on or off. More than just a key fob, it’s something of a small smartphone for your car. The BMW i8 is scheduled to launch in the first half of next year.

Models & Freshness: Miranda Kerr x Terry Richardson

There’s usually a method to the madness around here, then other times, we just do things just to do them. Just being honest. One section of AA that’s never lost its following is the Models and Freshness section. One could definitely conclude on why that is, but we’d rather just enjoy the section for what it is, and not over-ponder on why it’s been so popular.

Terry Richardson has never shied away from controversy, so his shoots have always been in great interest around here. This time he’s teamed up with the ageless Australian beauty and model, Miranda Kerr for an impromptu shoot at his legendary studio. If you’re familiar with his work, you know what this will be. Pretty playful shoot, with Kerr even rocking Terry’s signature flannel shirt at one point before revealing a lacy lingerie number underneath. Yeah, like I said, classic Terry indeed.

Kicks Flow: Nike Flyknit Racer December 2013 Releases

Good Moola..

It’s no secret that we love our runnin’ shoes over here at AA. It’s possible that we may have spent the entire 2013 rekindling our love for running and all it’s done for us, even fashion-wise. And if you’ve hung out here long enough, you know that we’re never satisfied with what we already have, we always want more models and colors. So in true AA tradition, we bring you more greed-laden kicks for those who just can’t get enough.

The innovative Nike Flyknit Racer silhouette is shown here in the new and absolutely gorgeous ”Glacier Ice” and “Court Purple” colorways. The first of the two models boasts a turquoise and glacier ice upper with bright crimson detailing, while the latter features an upper enveloped in court/atomic purple and accented by a smooth atomic orange. Kicks Flow: New Balance 576 Navy Camo

Awesome..

As we near the end of this incredible year, we still have a few notable kicks in the stash that need to be showcased before we move on to another great year. There’s been so much quality this year, but we need to show love to everything we can, so that we can make room for all of next year’s dopeness to come.

Following New Balance’s Fall/Winter 2013 camo pack in the 576 silhouette, comes a navy camo colorway. Sporting the same two-tone aesthetic, this version comes in a premium navy suede with blue camouflage accents. As with the other colorways in the pack, a white midsole and “N” patch logo feature on the shoe, while light grey on the inner lining and heel portion of the midsole give depth.

This is part of the brand’s Made In USA range, and you can cop this iteration for $160 USD at Premier and similar spots for kicks countrywide

Top Shelf: 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class | First Look

Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the 2015 C-Class, which grows in size just a little bit – 3.7 inches longer and more than an inch wider — while also shedding 220 pounds versus the outgoing model. So while the car formerly known as the Baby Benz grows up, it also becomes more efficient, its aerodynamic design and new engine resulting in a 20% increase in fuel efficiency.

That engine comes in a 2.0-liter turbo four, which produces 235 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque (found on the C300 4Matic model), as well as a 3.0-liter turbo V6, good for 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque (available on the C400 4Matic). Both are connected to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Inside, the elegantly appointed cabin has a flowing center console highlighted by a 7- or 8.4-inch display, along with a quintet of retro air vents, touchpad controller and a heads-up display.

Architecture: Mirador de Abrante by Jose Luis Bermejo Martin

Radical..

Architecture is one of those things that really allows one to express themselves in ways that honestly see no limit. It’s art, but imagine being able to live within a customized masterpiece. How would you build it? And where? This section of AA has grown to be so popular, and every post seems to generate even more interest. The mind of an architect is amazing. Being able to create something from nothing, that’s what art is all about and what keeps us coming back for more.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the tip of Tenerife, the Mirador de Abrante lookout sits 620 meters above sea level on the island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands. The structure serves as an observation point that houses tourist information, a cafe and a cantilevering lookout that hangs 5 meters over the edge of a cliff with a 200 meter drop to the beach below.

Supported by a concrete floor beam, the lookout is encased in glass including a transparent floor for fully unobstructed views. The building consists of reinforced concrete walls contrasted with folded metal panels in angular shapes, while 3,150 square meters of red brick and red dirt landscaping complement the cliff face and surrounding area.

Kicks Flow: New Balance 2014 “National Parks” Pack

Righteous..

We’re back with some serious heat, folks. And we’ve seen a lot of differently themed kicks from all of the lines over the past couple weeks. No one is relying on the basic stuff anymore for the holiday season rush and early 2014. It’s pretty cool to see brands stretching out a bit to come up with new models and flavors for the sneaker addicts worldwide to fiend for.

New Balance presents a selection of iconic silhouettes draped in various hues that draw inspiration from the United States’ national parks. Dubbed the “National Parks” pack, the brand’s latest release celebrates the beauty of the land, sea and sky, with icy blue tones to reflect the water, greys to reflect the landscape, and trail-inspired details to properly finish off each pair. The New Balance 2014 “National Parks” pack will be available at select retailers beginning January, 2014.

Architecture: Inside Frank Sinatra’s NYC Penthouse

Designed by Frank Sinatra in 1961, the singer’s former residence is a 3,200-square-foot penthouse overlooking the East River in New York City. With four bedrooms, six bathrooms and two terraces that wrap around the outside of the apartment, it’s no surprise Andy Warhol once dubbed it a “glittering grotto in the sky.”

Ol’ Blue Eyes left the apartment in 1972 and while the space has largely stayed the same, renovations in 2008 made way for a contemporary glass staircase, marble fireplace and gourmet kitchen. The Manhattan penthouse is currently back on the market and is valued at $6 million USD.
