Pretty damn cool..
Originally meant to be an exclusive product for pilots, the aviators and sunglasses with similar design that came after proved to be cultural phenomenons. Virtually timeless in design, these classics recently found a place on The Hundreds Eyeware Collection for Fall 2011. Known as The Morrison, each features a monotone color coating of Gold, Silver, Black, or Gun Metal.

We’ve been super critical of “classic” shoes being recycled, because most are done with no effort, and honestly, just half-heartedly. Sometimes it’s done right though, and when it is, we must salute the shoe and the good people behind it’s rebirth.
Another great release is going to drop next week – the Nike Air Trainer SC II Quickstrike Pack. The iconic Bo Jackson endorsed mid top trainer will come in three color-ways, that all have an overall classic appeal. It will drop September 2nd at premium sneaker retailers, including Premier.

Star Wars: The Blueprints bring together over 250 blueprints for the trilogy. J.W. Rinzler presents Jabba the Hutt’s palace to the Millennium Falcon and also never before seen technical drawings in this package, which is limited to overall 5000 copies. Included in the package are the book, a custom-made cloth case, and a certificate of authenticity.

Spotted at S.L.A.T.E. Las Vegas was this amazing Domino Table crafted by the arborial artisans at GoodWood NYC. Spearheaded by The Good Life, the folding table is outfitted with four drink holders and a clean domino playing surface.
To accompany the table, they also produced a custom set of all-black regulation weight wooden dominoes packed inside The Good Life box. Check with GoodWood for availability.

Salute!!
Reebok Classics and Swizz Beatz, in town for the PROJECT trade show, put on a concert for 500 friends and VIPs at Mandalay Bay’s Moorea Beach Club on Monday, August 22nd. Swizz, ever the enterprising ambassador for his brand, wore Reebok Ex-O-Fits and a matching snapback cap during his performance.
He was joined on stage by Funkmaster Flex, who provided beats throughout the show, while dance performances were provided by the runners up from America’s Best Dance Crew. The evening was capped with a surprise guest appearance by Chris Brown, decked out in Kamikazes and a Reebok Classics denim vest.

Not much is known about the PUMA Shadow Society. Like the Freemasons or the Illuminati, they’re a secretive organization filled with men and women of prestige and influence the world over. In the case of the PUMA Shadow Society, their charter is fairly straightforward: collaborate with the shoe maker by choosing the colors, materials and degree of branding to create a banging pair of kicks.
The first model to get the Shadow Society workup is the States (formerly known as the Suede), a shoe particularly popular in the UK among trainer enthusiasts and soccer fans. Coming in a grey or teal colorway, each pair also comes with multiple replacement laces in different colors and widths. Look for the shoe to drop on August 26th at select retailers, including Shoe Biz in San Francisco and Foot Patrol in London.

CLOT and Converse are once again at the center of a collaborative effort taking place on the Chuck Taylor All Star Low. Two different colors follow a subdued path to design with a canvas and suede materials. The most interesting aspect of the sneaker is seen with a gum colored stripe of rubber on the toe.
A simple touch of branding is applied to the heel. Both will be available through JUICE Stores across Asia starting August 26 and on a global level on September 6 via Converse First String dealers.

Fans of the Timberland Premium Waterproof Boot — commonly referred to as the “original” or “classic” boot — can expect the iconic footwear to undergo some changes for fall 2011. Wait, don’t panic: the modifications apply only to the interior, as the boot will receive new guts that enhance comfort and fit.
Timberland has developed exclusive anti-fatigue technology, modeled after the shock absorbing floor mats in industrial work spaces, that provides superior cushioning, along with a new flexible forefoot construction.
