Top Shelf: Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG and SLS AMG GT Final Edition

Good Moola..

At this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show, Mercedes-AMG will simultaneously be presenting both the S 65 AMG and the SLS AMG GT Final Edition. With 12 cylinders, bi-turbocharging, an output of 630 horsepower, and torque of 1000 Nm, the S 65 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. Compared with its predecessor, fuel consumption has been reduced by 2.4 liters per 100 kilometers (NEDC, combined), making the S 65 AMG the world’s most fuel-efficient V12 high-performance vehicle in terms of power and torque.

Although we’re sad to see it go, the German car manufacturer says goodbye to an era with the stunning SLS AMG GT Final Edition. Built in a limited run of just 350 units, the 591-horsepower, AMG 6.3-liter V8 front-mid engine offers a unique combination of exceptional design and equipment features. Thanks to the wide variety of models – from a gullwing model to the roadster, GT, the “Black Series,” an electric drive and its success in motorsport as the GT3 variant – the SLS AMG has become one of Mercedes-Benz’s most iconic cars and the GT Final Edition is as good a sendoff as any.

Respectington..
