Kicks Flow: Nike Air Max 90 “Cork”

I was in Paris not too long ago. And one of the coolest parts of the trip was being able to spend time with some of the designers from Nike who had made the trek out there to show off some of their newest creations on their way to shelves and stockrooms worldwide. I saw so many cool concepts, that I left feeling so inspired and as if I’d go broke the rest of this year trying to buy everything they’d eventually release. One of the designs that I saw had such an impact on me, that I couldn’t stop speaking to people about it. And it appears that I still am.

The ever-popular Nike Air Max 90 will undergo a unique redesign to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Taking visual cues from the highly sought-after Air Max 90 “Infrared,” the “Cork” model sees the upper and tongue constructed entirely of the versatile natural material. The shoe’s accents and sole unit are taken from the “Infrared” design with black and crimson detailing on the Swoosh, heel tab and air bubble. The Nike Air Max 90 “Cork” will be available at Urban Industry beginning the first week of April.
