I used to pick my running shoes out based on how cool they looked. It didn’t matter if they were heavier than she should’ve been, or if the type of shoe wasn’t even what I needed. Wide, cushion, breathable, etc. It didn’t matter at all. Then after speaking with other people who ran, I started seeing that I was doing it all wrong with how I picked out my running kicks. I needed to make a change. And quickly. The first time I saw someone running in a pair of Flyknit’s from Nike, I was in DTLA and thought they were the coolest running shoes I’d seen in awhile. Years later, I still feel the same way.
Nike is back with another version of them, and we think you might want to grab a pair. The “Blue Tint” Flyknit Racer features a fresh light blue upper on the lateral side contrasted by an darker navy on the medial side. Sitting atop of a dark navy midsole, minor details such as the white swoosh and blue digi-camo pull tab adds for further dimensions of aesthetic pleasure, as a navy tongue and navy sockliner wraps up the clean look.
Set to release November 16th, the “Blue Tint” Nike Flyknit Racer will retail for $160 USD at Nike stockists and online.
