Kicks Flow: Adidas Originals By Originals - Jeremy Scott - 3-Tongue Low

Shine on me..

If there is anyone who can prove that excess is good, it is Jeremy Scott. In a world where designers are keeping things classic and minimal, the outrageously irreverent American designer keeps it pumped and loud in both his eponymous line and his high-profile collaboration with adidas Originals by Originals.

Aside from the already difficult to find Multicolored JS Wings (a pair of shoes with so many colors you can’t count and comes with wings–what’s not to like?), another stand-out piece due to race off the racks is the 3-Tongue Low. Scott had previously played around with sneaker tongues and decided that the more the merrier, this time around he brings the same concept to the classic loafer silhouette. Except this loafer is remixed with a futuristic tone in mind in a reflective silver upper, and the classic loafer fringed tongue with tassels are piled atop one another (three in total, perhaps a nod to the adidas Originals 3-stripes). Of course, aside from three tongues, the 3-stripes are still present and modified with a dandy touch with the weaved detail through the ankle and stripes. The soles are kept black for a retro-space age vibe– as if the classic men’s loafers had been on a galactic trip and came back reconstructed and plated with another dimension.

Get yours..
