Inspired by an icon even in their already-strong lineage of cars, Volkswagen has just unveiled their new line of Beetle Cabriolets Karmann Editions at AMI Leipzig. Karmann, who was behind the design and production of numerous Beetle Cabriolet’s between 1949 and 1980, will receive the honor of having seven different types of Cabriolets that feature a unique Sioux Brown power folding soft top, each also with a special badge and 18-inch Disc-style alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the special edition drop-tops also have two tone sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a set of alloy pedals to go with the matte aluminum dashboard and Karmann-branded door sill plates. Available for order and delivery next month, the Karmann Edition will arrive with all usual engine and transmission options.
