We get so much love for the properties we post in the Architecture label. I remember when we first started speaking about expanding the site. We weren’t sure that people would be interested in seeing homes. We started slowly, just posting a couple here and there, but noticed that the views for these posts were some of the highest. So it’s become our goal to keep giving you what we feel you’d enjoy checking out. And there’s just so much more in store.
The LP House by Metro Arquitetos Associados located in São Paulo, Brazil is comprised of two rectangular structures, one placed atop the other to create an “L” shape, with a main floor containing all wet areas, the living room and bedrooms, and a second floor for the office. The rectilinear, concrete encased main volume runs the length of the house with partitions to separate the living room and kitchen from the sleeping areas.
Floor-to-ceiling glass windows unmask the backyard greenery. Inside, reinforced concrete contrasts with steel, glass and wooden panels. An external staircase divides the two floors with its outward positioning making it possible to bypass the main room.
Purposefully Fresh..
