Before hitting the market later this year, here we get an early look at the 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder. Prepped as the lightest Boxster in the range, the new edition now sits even lower to the ground to provide for an even better handle and smoother ride.
Upon popping the hood, you will find a 3.8-liter engine that houses an impressive 375 horsepower. This bad boy is expected to get you from 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds. Exclusively available with manual transmission, the new Boxster Spyder tops out at 180 mph.
The 2016 Boxster Spyder also features the same brakes as the 911 Carrera S and notes the accustomed manually-operated cloth roof. The 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder will be available later this year for around $82,000 USD.
