It doesn’t look like the flyness of apparel and footwear for the holiday season is going to be letting up anytime soon. Tons of companies are collaborating as well, and that just makes for new looks that will surely make most of us cough up more money to grab a few of the latest looks hitting stores and sites soon.
With sacai founder Chitose Abe’s second NikeLab collaboration, the traditional sportswear icons reinterpreted Abe’s distortion of volume and shape. NikeLab shows off her new creations in a Fall/Winter 2015 lookbook, shot by photographer Benoit Florencon.
A marriage between sport and style, Abe’s innovative stylings only help to emphasize the fluidity of Nike garments. Her distinct aesthetic and penchant for mixed-texture fabrications have been transmitted to pleated Tech Fleece garments, slip-on Dunk Lux’s, Windrunner styles, scalloped women’s skirts, and so much more.
