I had this kid Carlos in my class, in the 4th grade. He used to rock some of the freshest gear back then, like the kind of stuff older kids had. One of the things he had that we all thought was dope, was this Diadora suit. Nylon jacket and pants set, with the Diadora kicks to match. It was pretty inspiring, to say the least. For whatever reason, Diadora kinda vanished off the scene for awhile, and we all thought the brand was done. But a couple years ago, they started dropping some really fresh shoes that, in my opinion, really revitalized the brand and brought them back into the conversation about brands you shouldn’t sleep on.
BAIT and Diadora have had a long history of crazy and almost eccentric collaborations, but in their latest go at the N9000 silhouette, they’re dialing it back a notch. Featuring a subtle pink hue sprinkled across nubuck underlays and a light grey premium suede presiding over the frames and overlays, the shoe carries a luxurious feel behind its quality materials.
On the tongue, insole and heel gold foil branding can be found, furthering the luxurious take on the silhouette while a classic white midsole and clean translucent outsole ties everything together.
