There are sneakers that you hate to love. We all have them. They’re great kicks that we really want to rock, but see so many other people wearing them, so they lose their level of specialness to us. But on the flip-side, they’re so cool and fresh, that we have no choice but to cop and either wear or stash them in the collection for a bit.
The classic Nike Air Foamposite One that originally dropped in 2012, will be returning in its popular Metallic Red colorway once again this month, in celebration of the sneaker’s 20th anniversary.
Marking as the model’s first retro rendition, the silhouette essentially stays true to its original design with the vibrant hue covering its molded Foamposite upper. Black nubuck detailing along the eyelets, a mesh tongue, heel pull tabs, the signature Penny Hardaway cent logo, and a traditional icy translucent outsole solidifies its overall profile. These drop on Friday, and should run around $220.
