To celebrate a century of glorious automobile design, British luxury sports car maker Aston Martin serves up highly limited versions of its top models to date. 100 Centenary Edition versions of the V8 Vantage, Rapide and Vanquish will be released this year, the first of which was revealed on their actual birthday recently. The lovely bespoke Centenary Edition Vanquish was unveiled on January 15, and is now available for order by application at any one of Aston Martin’s 146 dealers worldwide.
While the special edition remains mechanically identical to its predecessors–packing an impressive 6-liter V-12 engine that pumps out 565 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque–it boasts a graduated custom paint finish, solid sterling silver wing badges with tailored “trans flux” enamel inlay and an exclusive Aston Martin hallmark. Its interior has also been upgraded with the luxe Deep Soft black leather previously exclusive to the One-77, and features contrast silver thread stitching with special embroidery of the wings in the head restraints. Solid sterling silver sill plaques bearing an individual number with the Aston Martin hallmark also uniquely distinguishes each car.
As if all that weren’t enough, more gifts follow with delivery of one of these.
