Kicks Flow: Adidas Consortium – The Unforseen Pack: Second Delivery

YESSIR!!

Prepared to take the sneakerheads’ demanding tastes for archival reissues head on, adidas Consortium has launched “The Unforseen” pack and is ready to rock some socks off. The “Unforseen” pack resurrects some of the rarest and most sought after silhouettes from adidas archives and reinterprets them in fresh materials and contemporary designs to create truly unforeseen kicks. After the first delivery of Non-Dyed hi-top remixed in buttery soft premium full-grain leather, the second delivery promises a triumvirate of reinterpreted perennial favorites– the Campus, the Gazelle and the Spezial.

As previously previewed, the Campus GID might look like a standard reissue in all-white, premium leather kicks with balling roots branded with a subtle Consortium logo. But, flip the lights out and the unforeseen and unmistakable glow in the dark gives the Campus GID the “X” factor discerning consumers are looking for.

All glowing aside, the versatile favorite worn by all tribes and walks from b-boys to indie kids and jazz heads, the Gazelle OG, is updated with a nautical touch, summer touch. The upper is now crafted from a navy rip-stop nylon with a summer translucent midsole that makes its wearer look like he is walking on ice. The navy is accented with a playful pop of flamingo pink in laces and branding, with a more subtle embossed Consortium branding on tongue.

Last but not least, the very special Spezial, which was originally conceived as a handball shoe in 1979, has transcended off indoor courts and found its place outdoors. The new Spezial keeps the four-zone sole construction on the outsole from the OG model while the upper switches things up with a springy forest green, light fabric upper. The heel tab and famed three-stripes are crafted in leather to add textural depth, and the shoes are topped off with am embossed Trefoil and Consortium logo.

The pack is set to hit stores soon, including the Campus GID at No.74 in Berlin this coming weekend. Perfect for discerning sneakerheads who not only demand classics with a twist, but would only slip into classics with a good twist.

Get yours..
