In bringing true auto racing thrills directly to its customers, Lamborghini introduced the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, the “most extreme Gallardo ever”, to gathered VIPs, press, and industry insiders last evening at Frankfurt. From what its engineers learned on the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, one of the fastest single-make racing venue, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale put the new “lessons” into practical situations. 

With additional carbon fiber, the chassis weighs at only 1340 kilograms. Its V10 power plant tops out at 570 horsepower and the capability of 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. To prevent the vehicle from “lifting off” at extreme high speeds, a mammoth, manually adjustable rear spoiler takes on greater down force.

Like all Lamborghini's, the cockpit is equipped with all the necessary creature comforts and lavished with Alcantara, carbon fiber, and other decorative details. The same luxe finish is found on the exterior too, with a brand new “Rosso Mars”, a color long identified with Italian racing heritage. As with all special editions from Lamborghini, only 150 Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale will be made.
