There are some shoes that are bound to sell out no matter the other available options at the moment. We all know how it goes. You hear the shoe is coming out, the store that’ll have them does some ridiculous raffle, and tons of people stand outside for hours to get their pair. You try to do the same, but for some reason, never end up with a pair of your own. It wasn’t always like this. There was a time when you could just walk into a store and buy the hottest sneaker of the time, without the hassle. But with sneakers basically becoming an asset these days, simplicity seems to have escaped us on shoes like this. And the shoe that usually gives people the most trouble, is the Air Jordan.
Basically any Jordan model from the mid-80’s to mid-90’s is going to be a headache to buy, if you don’t move fast enough. And Jordan Brand is about to cause a little more chaos with the release of a new Air Jordan 7 in “Pantone” or “University Blue”. The shoe is in turn part of a collection from the 2010 World Basketball Festival, showcasing Carolina Blue samples as a nod to MJ’s roots at UNC. These release with the usual features, such as the remastered upper, neoprene tongue, tonal laces and contrasting sole. They’re set to drop on April 29th, for $190. You don’t want to miss out on these. Move fast.
