How cool is THIS?!?
The most popular sponge with possibly the largest fan base of children under five any porous aquatic blob can amass, SpongeBob SquarePants, is not exactly known for his fashion sense (or any kind of sense for that matter). However, the poofy mass has not only successfully captured the imagination and admiration of pre-school children, but also the imagination of fashion’s quintessential maestro, Karl Lagerfeld. To that effect, Lagerfeld created a mini-me SpongeBob by dressing the latter’s figurine in his iconic get-up of black fingerless gloves, starched white button down with slim black tie, mysterious shades and black leather boots. The toy was made available for bidding at a Paris WWF fundraiser which generated 1,000 euros.via: WWD
