The launch of the new 2015 BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe offers a new interpretation of the high-performance sports car. The high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology produces a maximum output of 431 hp and peak torque of 406 lb-ft. The engine also achieves a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions of around 25%. Both the M3 and M4 cover the sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds (with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission).
Ensuring the new cars offer impressive race track capability, the presence of a track-specification cooling system maintains the optimum temperature balance for the engine, turbochargers and transmission.
