Architecture: The Cubes House by Nestor Sandbank

Nestor Sandbank’s “The Cubes House” in Ramot Hashavim, Israel comprises various independent cubes standing alongside each other and joined by a transparent corridor. Functioning as the family’s children’s rooms, the cubes are joined to the main house while still allowing privacy.

A central double-height living area opens out to the pool and outdoor terrace, while the house’s L-shape wraps around the backyard. Large steel boulder sculptures decorate the backyard, while the crisp white and glass facade completes the futuristic design.
