YESSIR!!
Finished in sleek black and chrome, the Chappelli NuVinci isn’t just a pretty face: it utilizes the NuVinci variable rear hub for gearing, one that essentially uses an infinite number of gears to provide a “seamlessly smooth ride.” At least that’s how the judges at the Australian International Design Awards put it, bestowing Chappelli with top honors in the sport and leisure category.
According to Chappelli, changing gears on the innovative build “is as simple as tuning a radio” — one simply adjusts the grip shifter to match the gradient of the road. Additional details include leather grips with integrated red lights at the bar-ends, plus a chromoly lugged steel frameset with custom Chappelli cranks. The wheels, meanwhile, are chromed out deep Vs matching the silver lugs and component setup. Chappelli is producing a limited run of its award-winning bike, scheduled for delivery in November and available to riders in Australia and New Zealand.
