Five years after the introduction of the GT500 Super Snake, Shelby has now announced the new improved and updated 2013 model. Boosting up the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine, it now performs impressive 662 horsepower. If that’s still not convincing enough, feel free to upgrade up to 850 horsepower. Besides extra horses Shelby offers additional extras such as upgraded front and rear brakes, Borla exhaust, sport suspension, Shelby-designed 20-inch wheels and a beefier cooling package. Besides that there are the signature stripes, fiberglass hood and an optional widebody kit that allows for wider wheels and tires.
The 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake post-title package starts at $28,995.00 for the 662 HP version and $39,995.00 for the 850 HP model. The car, of which only 500 will be built, is not included in the price. For a detailed look of the car check out the gallery above.
