Designer/influencer Jeff Staple just revealed more details about his firm’s upcoming project with PUMA. Named PUMA Pigeon Suede by Staple, it was a collaborative effort that spun around the globe with concept originated in New York, designed in Germany, and finally, production in Japan. All handmade through PUMA’s “Made in Japan” exclusives initiative, only 500 pairs will be available worldwide, with each featuring the tonal grey and orange-pink accents found on Staple Design‘s mascot, the common Rock Pigeon.
Finished with a pigeon graphic near the heel and an altered “PUMA PIGEON” branding, the special edition will retails at $200 USD. Availability starts Wednesday, April 17th, at Reed Space in New York City on a first come, first serve basis. A worldwide launch will come later on May 3rd but only through a handful of PUMA retailers.
