Top Shelf: Claydon Reeves Aeroboat

Just in case you’re having difficulty navigating the waters around your beachfront mansion and are in the market for a top of the range speedboat, Claydon Reeves has a little something that might interest you. The new Aeroboat is inspired by the legendary WWII Spitfire fighter plane, although it’s not immediately clear how.

At its heart is a supercharged V12 Rolls Royce Merlin engine, capable of up to 2500bhp and speeds of over 75 knots, so it shares something of the Spitfire’s speed, but the seven-person capacity is a lot roomier than a fighter pilot’s cockpit, and the carbon fiber body finished with a luxurious hardwood veneer is certainly no camouflage.

In fact, we very much doubt anyone will have trouble spotting this baby out on the waves. Only 10 of them will ever be made, so if you want to be in that elite club, click here for details on how to place an order.
